Educational Frameworks
At DunlopShaw we know our craft.
We know what makes learning easier, more enjoyable and more importantly, how best for this learning to be retained and applied in the work context.
We build on our experiences and a body of knowledge which helps inform our professional practice.
Just to name a few, we use learning design skills such as scaffolding to ensure the learner is supported in content complexity. We manage the cognitive load, which is the amount and pace of learning so that the learner keeps moving forward. We use interleaving and spaced repetition to help ‘lay down’ the learning so that remembering and applying it is easier.
In other words, we design learning to make it straightforward, engaging and long-lasting.
